The sauce is good, usually the sauce is supposed to be extremely sweet. The only thing i like about this dish is that the sauce coats the fried pork and the fried pork is extremely crunchy. Noodles were 10/10, made me cold at the end. But the whole point of these noodles are supposed to be cold and filled with ice cubes. The noodle texture wasn't so chewy, but the noodles itself made me extremely full. The broth was cold and savory, which I enjoyed. The toppings are standard but the plating is very nice I would say. The service is very speedy and polite. Only a couple people working but the staff managed to serve everyone as fast as they can. Depending on the certain food you order, the preparation can take a while. Other tables ordered different dishes than us but that's because all dishes have different preparations and ingredients. I don't blame that. The ambiance of this restaurant wasn't so noisy, but since there are a lot of kids in the restaurant, it can get pretty loud. But that's because they're kids. I can say that it is a peaceful atmosphere and I can perfectly hear myself talking to my parents which is a good thing. Overall this restaurant was impressive. I have to say, if I don't clean my bowl after eating my dish, then that's how you know the food was mediocre. But today, I devoured my dishes to THE CORE. It was so delicious, I would definitely come back here next time with my parents.

Great spot for Korean comfort food! My partner and I decided to check this place out on a cold Saturday night when we were craving something hearty. Upon arrival, the restaurant was clean and quiet, and the service was prompt and courteous. The menu has a lot of images and good descriptions to help you choose your dish. I went with a combination option of jajangmyeon (noodles topped with a thick meat and black bean sauce) and tangsuyuk (pork with sweet and sour sauce). The combination was a really good value - very affordable for the portion that you get. And the food was really good! The flavors were strong but not overpowering and you also get some kimchi and kimchi radish on the side to help cut through any richness. I really enjoyed trying this place and I'm hoping to try more Korean food in the area too!

If you want good Korean in large portions for a cheap price this is the place to go! Dishes came with so much food we had to take some to-go. Both dishes was amazing and felt super homemade. The Gan jja jang with pork was so delicious, it was sweet and savory and the noodles were soft and chewy like! The seafood jjam bbong came with so much seafood topping better than other Korean restaurants for way lesser prices, it had shrimp, octopus, mussels, and vegetables. Spicy sauce is very very spicy. Restaurant is very clean and cozy. A quiet and relaxing place to have lunch. The service was very nice as well, server cut up our noodles at our table which is a very thoughtful.

Came here looking for cozy vibes and the classic korean restaurant experience, and got exactly that! We ordered the tangsuyuk, jjajangmyeon, and jjampong. The broth was spicy, the black bean sauce savory and a little sweet, and we loved both of them! Tasted exactly like the restaurant back home, and i'm so happy to have found a replacement here in Fairfax :) The tangsuyuk wasn't oily and had the perfect amount of breading, and tasted so good with the sauce/broth of the other two dishes. The portions are decently sized, so you can definitely share 1 bowl with someone, especially if you get the tangsuyuk! And the lady working (I think she's the owner?) was super sweet and though it was decently busy when we came, she was super quick whenever we asked for something. Will DEFINITELY be coming back!
